We’re looking for talented graduates to join our successful Graduate Retail Management Programme, to develop their technical knowledge, commercial awareness and leadership skills during a structured 6-month training programme, and then progress to a leadership position as we plan for even further growth.

We plan to commence the programme in 2022, so whether you’ll be graduating next year (2022) or have graduated since 2020, then we have exciting opportunities for you…


The Programme:

Our fast-track Graduate programme is designed to give you exposure to all areas of leading a successful store team whilst having the benefit of a member of the store management team from day one, you will experience all the exciting challenges and opportunities a Store Manager may face.


After an induction you will be allocated to a Training Store where you will learn store operations and systems with hands-on experience to every facet of the store – financial management, customer service, community engagement, merchandising, leading and inspiring your team…the role is exciting and diverse.


On successful completion of the initial training programme you will progress to Assistant Store Manager and will take up full responsibilities within the Store Management team.   This may seem daunting, but you will have support from mentors and colleagues to help you along the way.  Your speed of progression to Store Manager and beyond will be entirely up to you and the results that you achieve. 

You will be at the heart of the action with a strong work ethic, passionate about retail and committed to delivering the very best for our customers. It is very rewarding role and every day is different.

What you’ll need…Essential Criteria:

  • To join our Graduate Management Programme, you’ll either be graduating next year (2022), or you will have graduated in either 2020 or 2021
  • You will need to have (or to be expecting) at least a 2:2 (or equivalent) in your degree subject.
  • You must have a passion for food retail, working in a store environment and delivering a great service to customers.
  • Previous retail or foodservice/ hospitality experience is essential and if you’ve got experience within the food retail industry, this would be of benefit.
  • The right behaviours to lead a team and inspire a diverse group of colleagues- you’ll be a great communicator and have a positive, determined approach to meet the changing business needs. 
  • You’ll also need to be adaptable to change, and be able to make sound decisions,
  • We are looking for people who are ambitious- you’ll set high standards and always strive to continually improve.
  • Our roles also require a flexible approach to working so you’ll be happy to do early starts and late finishes, and you’ll also be available to work on weekends. As we have stores throughout the province, mobility is also key.
