SPAR/BP Filling Station (Loughview) - 235 Lough Road, Lurgan, Co Armagh, BT66 6NQ



As a Team Leader you will lead by example demonstrating product knowledge and being commercially aware. It will be your responsibility to motivate your team to exceed Company targets and KPI's, whilst offering exceptional customer service.  Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations, through consistent availability in an appealing retail environment.  

We’re looking for a reliable candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen. Due to the constantly changing nature of convenience retailing, you must be adaptable in your approach to work, you will be determined, hardworking and dependable. In addition to this you will be an effective and confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills with a real ‘can do’ attitude.

What we’re looking for:

•    To be considered for this position you must be aged 18 years or over, have at least 12 months’ previous retail experience working within a commercial customer focused environment, along with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in successfully leading a team.
•    You’ll be target driven, and passionate about guiding a team to success.
•    Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
•    A clear understanding of working towards KPI`S including cash management.
•    Strong commercial awareness, visual merchandising skills and a knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance.
•    Ability to build long lasting relationships with all customers.
•    Fresh ideas to drive business.
•    You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.

Hours of Work: Full-time position available working 42.5 hours per week.  A degree of flexibility across our trading hours (6am - midnight) will be required- shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours and shift patterns in further detail at Interview.
