Our Logistics teams cater for a huge range of loyal customers right across the island of Ireland. Working out of our large distribution centres our teams made up of warehouse operatives, transport specialists and HGV drivers work tirelessly ensuring our all of our customers have everything they need, when they need it.
Our Logistics teams are centralised out of our main distribution centre based in Mallusk which proudly hosts the largest SPAR warehouse in Europe, our Hydepark site. This state of the art warehouse was a complete multi-million redesign, purpose built so that we can serve our customers better and faster. Our site at Mallusk has several large warehouse operations that cover fresh, frozen, chilled and ambient goods.
Our Logistics operation has three additional depots also, one based in Ballymoney, Larne, and another in Newry, further positioning us again to deliver right throughout the province. Being such a fast paced industry our Logistics operation offers a wide range of rewarding career opportunities both on site and out on the road. Some of these key positions include Warehouse Operatives, Forklift Drivers, Transport Managers, Facilities Engineers and HGV/LGV Drivers.
Henderson Wholesale Drivers
Our Wholesale Drivers are out on the road each day delivering high quality grocery to our growing customer base all across the province. They continuously build great relationships with their customers, getting to know them daily and providing them with first class customer service.
Trained to the highest level either qualifying through or assessed by our internal Training Academy, this ensures our Wholesale Drivers are best set to be successful within their role when out on the road. Our Drivers take great pride in promoting our brands while commuting across the country and being at the forefront of our Logistics and Distribution operation.
Rewarding Careers that last
As one of Northern Ireland's largest organic employers we are proud that so many of our team members spend so much of their career working with us. Across our group some of our team members have been with us as long as 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years, but one team member tops them all. Gary Reid has been with us for 52 years, spending all of his career within the Henderson Wholesale transport team.
