Post Office Clerk  
£12.05 per hour & Benefits. Part-time position at 16 - 24 hours per week, working 2 to 3 days each week within Monday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:30pm with a degree of flexibility required.

A look into the role 

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the Post Office daily, ensuring that a high standard of customer service is achieved at all times. 

 

As Post Office Clerk you will be required to; 

  • Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services. 
  • Serve customers according to the company procedures on customer satisfaction, assisting in the successful daily operation of the Post Office branch. 
  • Handle & Balance cash accurately. 
  • Complete administration duties as required.  
  • Provide an outstanding level of customer care. 
  • Travel to other Post Office branches may be required as part of the job role. 
  • Complete other duties as required for the role. 
     

Skills for Success 

  • Cash handling experience. 
  • Previous experience in sales/active selling as well as working towards sales targets. 
  • Back office administrative experience. 

 
Desirable:

  • A good standard of education.   
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

Working Hours  

Part-time position at 16 - 24 hours per week, working 2 to 3 days each week within Monday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:30pm with a degree of flexibility required.
