Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices.

The Purpose of the role:

This role will lead the digital transformation of Barista Bar’s loyalty programme, Northern Ireland’s leading coffee brand. 

 

You will drive the strategic use of customer segmentation to enhance loyalty and support the ongoing development of the Barista Bar digital ecosystem including the mobile app, brochure site, and e-commerce platform.

 

As a key advocate for digital growth, you’ll position digital as the core channel for customer acquisition and retention across our established NI and GB markets, while supporting the brand’s expansion across Great Britain and beyond. 

 

Based within the E-commerce Team and working closely with the Barista Bar Team, you’ll play an integral role in aligning digital initiatives with the wider marketing objectives.

 

Working as Barista Bar Loyalty Lead you will:

  • Work with the Barista Bar Brand Manager and Product Manager to develop and deliver a digital loyalty strategy for Barista Bar.
  • Grow the Barista Bar Rewards+ offering.
  • Support the Product Manager with the expansion of the Barista Bar Loyalty mechanism into regions outside NI.
  • Ensure the successful delivery day-to-day of Barista Bar loyalty app functions and digital engagement activity.
  • Execute targeted online content to engage existing customer and new loyalty leads, (tailored by customer segment) using web, email marketing and social networking.
  • Support the Product Manager to develop new business processes as required.
  • Drive the use of customer insight and data driven segmentations online with the support of the Product Manager.
  • Assist the Product Manager in identifying and defining future functionality requirements for the Barista Bar website
  • Assist the Product Manager and development/support resource with UAT related to the Barista Bar Loyalty App and digital suite.
  • Any other duties as required, including supporting the wider Marketing Department.
     

Skills for Success

 

Joining us as Barista Bar Loyalty Lead the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Experience of managing a loyalty scheme.
  • Experience of segmenting customer groups to deliver targeted campaigns and content based on data and insights.
  • Experience of managing and delivering marketing campaigns online, including onsite and push channels (email, social etc)
  • Experience of identifying gaps in existing user experience, online functionality or business processes to improve e-commerce returns.
     

The Attributes you’ll need include:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong process-oriented mindset
  • Skilled in analysing, interpreting, and applying data and insights
  • Solid technical understanding of e-commerce systems and workflows
  • Good working knowledge of GDPR and data compliance
  • Effective communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High level of numeracy
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
     

It is Desirable if you have:

  • Third level qualification, preferably in a marketing or business discipline OR a relevant professional certification for the post.
  • Experience working with mobile apps.
  • Experience using a CRM platform.
  • Experience of managing customer support requests.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Takeaway Coffee industry.
  • Knowledge of Foodservice industry.

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
