Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, Caterers, Delicatessen’s, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and hotels.

Following another year of record growth, we are now seeking to expand our team. Our Business Development Executive will thrive on a target driven approach to sales, possess a dynamic approach to developing new business and account management and have a passion for delicious food.

Our Business Development Executive’s play a vital role in the ongoing success of our company by continuously developing new and existing customer relationships throughout the island of Ireland.

Covering a territory of Greater Dublin this fast paced and versatile position will take the lead on developing new sales leads within their designated area while managing and further developing existing foodservice accounts.  If you are a motivated, results orientated individual who has a proven track record in FMCG sales or an experienced Chef then this exciting opportunity is tailor made for you.

As Business Development Executive, you will:

 

  • Strategically grow the Henderson Foodservice share of major Accounts across the Dublin City Centre region establishing the Company as a first-choice partner in food service within the Irish marketplace.
  • Design and implement business plans in line with organisational strategy to maximise sales through building and maintaining sound customer relationships.
  • Create, develop and implement effective sales strategies, driving prospecting, lead generation and conversion of new business
  • Target, identify and win new business within your territory
  • Manage a range of customer accounts within your own designated territory.

 

Skills for Success

 

Joining us as Business Development Executive the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

 

•             A minimum of one years' experience of winning and managing new accounts and developing and driving strategic sales plans to achieve budgets and targets.

•             Proven ability to develop strong relationships with key decision makers

•             Proven commercial ability and acumen with strong analytical skills

•             Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications

•             A current EU driving licence

•             Ability to negotiate and influence effectively

•             Ability to communicate with credibility to varied stakeholders

•             Enjoy independent working, using your initiative and demonstrable problem solving aptitude
