A look into the role…

Help shape how some of Northern Ireland’s best-known retail brands connect with customers every day. As Digital Marketing Executive, you will bring campaigns to life across social media, websites and digital channels, helping SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA strengthen engagement and deliver value for stores and local communities. This is a temporary opportunity for 12–18 months within the Henderson Wholesale Marketing team.  (Should a permanent role arise within our developing team during that time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be considered).

Reporting to the Digital Team Leader you will support the development and delivery of digital marketing activity across Henderson Group retail brands, helping to bring brand campaigns to life across social media and digital channels.

Working collaboratively with the marketing team, sales colleagues and agency partners, you will play a key role in planning, activating, monitoring and reporting on digital campaigns that support brand objectives, optimise engagement and deliver value for our network of stores.

  • Support the management of social media content calendars across SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA, ensuring activity aligns with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Support the creation of content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Support the activation and maintenance of promotional content across brand websites, ensuring deals, campaigns and seasonal activity are updated accurately and on time.
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, customer queries and complaints while helping to protect and enhance brand reputation.
  • Manage the creation, scheduling and distribution of promotional e-zines, ensuring content is engaging, accurate and aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Assist with reporting on digital campaign performance, assessing activity against KPIs and ROI.
  • Assist the digital team with delivery of digital marketing training to a network of more than 500 retail stores.
  • Stay up to date with emerging digital trends, platform developments and industry insights, contributing innovative ideas to drive growth and campaign effectiveness.
