About the Role:
As a Stock Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of stock across our warehouse operation. Working closely with warehouse teams, sales and trading departments, you will help maintain accurate stock levels, minimise disruption and support the effective movement of products throughout the business. 
You will carry out regular inventory checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate daily stock records, ensuring all information is updated within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role will also involve generating and analysing stock reports, identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes and supporting operational decision-making through accurate inventory insights.
In addition, you will coordinate communications between warehouse and administration teams to quickly resolve stock issues impacting picking or replenishment, helping to keep operations running efficiently while ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry regulations and safety standards.
 
Skills for Success
 
Joining us as Stock Controller the minimum criteria you’ll need is: 
•    A minimum of 5 GCSE’S including Maths and English (or equivalent)
•    A minimum of one years’ experience as a stock Controller or in a similar role within a logistics environment
•    Experience using Warehouse Management Systems for inventory tracking and management
•    Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel
 
The Attributes you’ll need include:
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory issues and support effective stock management. 
•    Comfortable using IT systems and technology to manage stock information accurately and efficiently. 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams. 
•    Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment. 
•    Able to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a wider team. 

It is Desirable if you have:
•    A third level qualification in a relevant subject
•    Experience with different WMS platforms and software.
•    A valid Reach Truck License.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours per week. Working hours will be any 4 days, Sunday-Thursday, 18:00pm-04:00am (Job to Finish).
