A look into the role

A big part of your role will be planning and organising daily delivery routes, making sure we’re making the best use of our drivers, vehicles, and overall resources. You’ll also be hands-on with our 12-week vehicle maintenance schedule, helping us stay compliant, roadworthy, and ready to go.

You’ll be at the heart of our operation, working closely with the warehouse team to make sure deliveries and recoveries are well coordinated and don’t impact service levels. You’ll handle queries from drivers, customers, and sales reps, keeping communication clear and service running smoothly.

Alongside this, you’ll help ensure compliance with our Operator’s Licence, keep vehicle records up to date, and make sure everything from insurance to tax and PSV checks is in order.

If you enjoy the buzz of logistics, thrive on planning and teamwork, and like solving problems before they happen, we’d love to hear from you.

•    Experience in an administrative or coordination role within a fast-paced environment (e.g. logistics, distribution, retail or similar)
•    Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
•    A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English

The attributes you’ll need include:
•    Ability to plan and adjust delivery routes in real time, responding to delays, absences or vehicle issues
•    Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence to make decisions in a live operational environment
•    Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep operations on schedule
•    Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with drivers, warehouse teams and stakeholders
•    Customer-focused, with the ability to resolve queries calmly and professionally
•    High attention to detail when managing vehicle records, compliance documentation and planning data
•    Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain composed under pressure
