A look into the role
With ambitious plans to expand our business, we are excited to now recruit a driven sales leader who will support growth and impact sales growth on a National scale. As our UK Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth, building powerful partnerships, and leading a high-performing team across the UK.
You will work alongside our internal team to strengthen, develop and grow key retailer partnerships. In addition, you will upsell the suite of EDGEPoS retail technology products to these retailers.
This leadership role will suit an ambitious, sales focused professional. Candidates should possess strong commercial acumen and leadership capability and a proven track record in sales and sales development.
Working as UK Sales Manager, your role will include:
- Lead & Inspire: Manage and energise a UK-wide sales team, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Account Growth: Build and nurture relationships with key retail clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and expand our EPOS solutions.
- CRM-Driven Planning: Use our CRM system to forecast sales, track performance, and maintain detailed customer profiles that fuel smarter decisions.
- Data-Led Performance: Analyse sales reports and market trends to guide your team and refine our approach.
- Retail-Focused Collaboration: Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless delivery and support that meets the unique demands of retail environments.
- Industry Representation: Attend and present at retail tech events, showcasing our innovations and strengthening our presence in the market.
- Partnership Expansion: Grow our influence within existing EPOS supplier partnerships and explore new strategic alliances.
- Agile Execution: Stay responsive to market shifts and business needs—adapting quickly and leading with confidence.
Skills for Success
Joining us as UK Sales Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- 3+ years of proven experience in Sales Management.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues
- Proven ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
- Demonstrated experience as a sales professional with a strong focus on team and individual business development.
- Proven history of achieving targets and budgets, effectively maximising business development opportunities.
- Established ability to manage and drive multiple sales opportunities concurrently.
- Consistent success in closing deals within expected timeframes.
- A full, current UK Driving License

- Proven experience selling SaaS into the retail and forecourt sector.
- Experience of direct software sales.

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
This role covers a territory of England, Scotland and Wales; therefore, the successful applicant will be required to reside within the region.
